Package: bugs.debian.org
Severity: normal
Hello,
After uploading the package bugs have not been closed. Source package is imms,
bugs are: #358991 and #456686.
The case is:
I prepared imms 3.1.0~rc4-1 package. This version closed the bugs but it
also introduced new binary packages and needed to be accepted by ftp-masters.
It was rejected because of some flaws in copyright file. I fixed the problem
and uploaded 3.1.0~rc4-2. The package has been accepted, but bugs has not
been closed.
At the moment I am filling this bugreport the bugs are left open, but I will
close them manualy soon.
Regards
Artur

Bugs are closed based on dak's parsing of the .changes file. The file
for ~rc4-2, as seen at
http://packages.qa.debian.org/i/imms/news/20080416T221408Z.html , only
included the changes from that revision, therefore not including the bug
closures.
In cases such as these, you need to use dpkg-buildpackage's -v option to
make sure that the changes from both revisions are included in the
upload.
I'm therefore closing this bug as it doesn't appear to be an issue with
the BTS.

Adam
