Package: amarok
Version: 1.92-1
Severity: wishlist
When I read the upstream changelog, it mention fix for MTP devices management.
Verbatim from nerivik changelog: "Tag editing and file deletion for MTP devices"
It puzzle me a bit as I actually find no way to access to my samsung
device while it was possible with the kde3 version.
Do I miss something (right to say RTFM granted) or does the MTP device
management code still has incompatibilities with debian?

Hi,
(I'm closing this bug as stated in the presubj which reportbug should have
displayed to you. Feel free to contact me personally via email, just do not
open bugs if you are not sure if it's upstream or debian problem).

What can I say, well:
1) amarok depends on libmtp8 from experimental and was built with devel stuff
of that lib installed.
$ aptitude why amarok libmtp8 (given you have 1.92-1 installed).
2) $ dpkg -L amarok amarok-common | grep mtp
/usr/lib/kde4/libamarok_collection-mtpcollection.so
/usr/share/kde4/services/amarok_collection-mtpcollection.desktop
3) Now I don't have a clue how it is supposed to work. Something should
probably appear when you plugin a device. Anyway, that's what amarok user
mailing lists or #amarok at irc.freenode.net is for.
