package:coreutils
version:4.5.2-1
I installed coreutils (last week), and the customizable setting
"dired-listing-switches" in emacs 21-1.2 no longer permits the settings
I have been using "-Alh" (adjusted alphabetically to -ahl) - no
combination of these or similar switches any longer works with dired.
When I try to perform an action on a file (read, visit, copy, symlink,
etc), I get the error: "No file on this line". I can correct this
behavior by setting "dired-listing-switches" to -l.
The trace from emacs follows:
Debugger entered--Lisp error: (error "No file on this line")
signal(error ("No file on this line"))
error("No file on this line")
dired-move-to-filename(t)
dired-get-filename()
dired-view-file()
call-interactively(dired-view-file)
I am using Debian GNU/Linux "testing/unstable" and kernel 2.4.18, libc6
version 2.2.5-14.3
