Package: libpq4
Version: 8.1.11-0etch1
Severity: important
I'm getting this message when using libpq for anything:
Could not connect to server: No such file or directory
Is the server running locally and accepting
connections on Unix domain socket
"/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
$ ls -al
total 16
drwxrwsr-x 2 postgres postgres 4096 2008-10-07 14:00 .
drwxr-xr-x 11 root root 4096 2008-10-07 14:04 ..
-rw------- 1 postgres postgres 5 2008-10-07 14:00 8.1-main.pid
srwxrwxrwx 1 postgres postgres 0 2008-10-07 14:00 .s.PGSQL.5433
-rw------- 1 postgres postgres 34 2008-10-07 14:00 .s.PGSQL.5433.lock
The psql binary connects to the correct path, but it's statically
linked.
Thanks,
