ferm has an include statement which is able to include directories.
It is annoying that this feature include .<name> files. So its not possible
to use subversion, or edit the files with vi why running ferm in test mode.

Indeed. Hence closing with version tracking.
I of course cancel my NMU intent...
PS: #489271 has the same problem.
