Package: devilspie
Version: 0.8-2
Severity: normal

The window manipulation utility devilspie fails to maximize windows
and reorts an error instead.

The portion of the configuration file that is supposed to maximize all
galeon windows was taken directly from the sample-config.xml provided
by the package:

--------8<-------------------
  <flurb>
    <matchers>
      <matcher name="DevilsPieMatcherWindowName">
        <property name="application_name" value="Galeon"/>
      </matcher>
    </matchers>
    <actions>
      <action name="DevilsPieActionResize">
        <property name="maximized" value="TRUE"/>
      </action>
    </actions>
  </flurb>
-------->8---------------------

A call of devilspie strips the decorations from the galeon window but
does not act on its size. Instead an error message is given on stdout:

---------8<----------------------
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ devilspie -a
[snip]
Window title: "My Portal: /"; Application name: "Galeon"; Role: "(none)";
Geometry: "966x644+6+26"

(devilspie:10563): Wnck-WARNING **: Received a timestamp of 0; window
activation may not function properly.
----------->8--------------------

In contrast, the action 'property name="minimized"' works as expected.

This is fixed in version 0.10-1, which hit Unstable a few days ago. It
will reach testing shortly.
