Package: iceweasel
Version: 2.0.0.8-1
Severity: normal

Clicking repeatedly on the same folder in the left part of the local
file/folder browser (e.g. when saving a page, image or download)
sometimes displays the contents of that folder twice in the right part
of the local file/folder browser. If this happens, clicking again
usually results in a correct display of the folder contents.

By the way, something else I noticed (but which may be unrelated), is
the following. Suppose I want to save something, and the folder browser
starts in /home/theuser/subdir. If I then click on "theuser" right above
"Places", the browser goes up one directory, but "subdir" remains
selected in the folder contents on the right, so that if I then click on
the "Save" button, the file is saved in /home/theuser/subdir instead of
/home/theuser (what I would expect). Am I the only one who is confused
by this behavior?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. right click on an image
2. click on "Save Image As"
3. click on the _current_ folder in the list on the left ("Places")
Actual Results:
The list with files and folders on the right displays each item
contained in the current folder twice.

Expected Results:
The list with files and folders on the right should display each item
contained in the current folder only once.

I believe this bug has been introduced recently. It is also present in
the newest upstream release 2.0.0.9. It also occurs after renaming
~/.mozilla (effectively starting with a fresh config) and running with
command line option -safe-mode.

I also reported the bug in the upstream bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404233
