Package: procmail
Version: 3.22-16
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/share/man/man5/procmailrc.5.gz

DEFAULT Default mailbox file (if not told otherwise, procmail will
dump mail in this mailbox). Procmail will automatically
use $DEFAULT$LOCKEXT as lockfile prior to writing to this
mailbox. You do not need to set this variable, since it
already points to the standard system mailbox.

Add to the above: Attempts to set this variable to a forwarding
address or pipe will merely create files with ! and | embedded in
their names.

I consider this to be already emphasized enough. Please note the bold
letter used in the word "mailbox" in the manpage. This is the groff code:

Default
.B mailbox
file

Thanks.
