Package: madoka
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I'd like to request the following features in this package:

1) English-language documentation. This would probably be the most useful.
Hopefully somebody in debian-jp could be found to do the translation.
Additionally, once it is in English, we have people that can translate from
English to other languages.

2) A feature to cause madoka to never leave certain channels. For instance,
if the irc client says it wants to part from a channel, madoka stops sending
the client communication from the channel but remains connected itself
(does not pass along the part to theh server). This allows the server to
continue logging channels desired.

3) comments in the source. I've tried to read the source in an effort
to work on both of the above, but unfortunately it has really NO comments
and many quite cryptic things -- especially in its regular expressions.

Thanks,
John

The madoka package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/507827 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
