When instructed to visit a directory, pcl-cvs prepares a list like the
following, and lets me mark the file I want processed.
Unknown ChangeLog
Unknown Makefile.config
Unknown aclocal.m4
Unknown autom4te.cache
* Modified color.c
Unknown config.log
Unknown config.status
Unknown configure
When I hit `c' and enter the log message in another buffer, cvs is actually
executed to do the commit. Now, it used to be (just a couple of weeks ago),
that upon successful commit Emacs changed the list to something like
Unknown ChangeLog
Unknown Makefile.config
Unknown aclocal.m4
Unknown autom4te.cache
Committed 1.2 color.c
Unknown config.log
Unknown config.status
Unknown configure
But no more :-( Instead I get:
In directory .:
Message: /var/lib/cvs/gcolorsel/color.c,v <-- color.c
Message: new revision: 1.2; previous revision: 1.1
Unknown ChangeLog
Unknown Makefile.config
Unknown aclocal.m4
Unknown autom4te.cache
* Modified color.c
Unknown config.log
Unknown config.status
Unknown configure
I think this has to do with recent security changes to cvs. See, for
instance, #254356.

This was due to changes in the CVS output format and fixed in 21.4a-1
(see #291221).
