Package: mysql-server
Version: 3.23.52-2

I have some server as mysql database server. They make many connections >600
parallel.

With the debian packages I can not make more than 632 Connection on the same
time.

All ulimits are high and so on.

With the static binary from http://www.mysql.com ( MySQL-Max-3.23.55-1.i386.rpm
) more than 1000 threads are no problem on the same server.

mysql 3 went out of support long time ago. Please test with latest 5.0 or 5.1
version in Debian and reopen this bug otherwise.
