When I use this plugin to watch some video on the web I never get sound
(It worked with older versions once.) and the terminal is filled with
error messages like the following:

The strange think is that I do not have alsa on my system ever! Alsa was
never working so I did and do nor will have such worse code in my kernel
or ever using.
All other applications worked fine on my system and sound is played well
with the standard OSS support. Only the actual flash plugin do not work.
