VDR doesn't start with the LANG setting from /etc/default/locale, if
LANG isn't the last entry. This seems to be fixed in the Sid version,
but it would be nice to have this fixed in the Lenny release as well.

Thanks for reporting this. It's already fixed in 1.6.0-8. I'll ask for a
