Hello:
I think it would be quite interesting providing support for creation of init
ram images for another architectures. For instance I'd like to create an i386
image on a amd64 machine. There are quite a lot of possibilities.
One of the important steps is already supported. I'm refering to specifying
the destination machine architecturo proper kernel using the -k parameter. But
apart on that, userspace applications support should be provided. I guess it's
a matter of adding another DEBIRF variable specifying destination architecture
and then providind that information to deboostrap.
For the moment, this is all I can suggest. I'll see if I can provide further
ideas/patches.
