All this crap makes it almost impossible to diagnose any significant errors
gnome errors, don't know what caused what.

Yes, that's entirely the problem.
I thought I'd closed this bug. My error.
(NB: This is a duplicate of an earlier bug, which is an error in
ia32-libs-gtk, not nspluginwrapper)
