Package: smbfs
Version: 2.0.2-5

The smbmount man page says you can specify a subdirectory on the exported
share to mount, but this doesn't actually work.

    o:3% smbmount //velvet/c/downs smbtest -s CHO_VELVET
    Password:
    o:3% ls smbtest
    AUTOEXEC.BAK IO.SYS Real TAX98 cygnus
    AUTOEXEC.BAT MOUSE SCANDISK.LOG TIE downs
    AUTOEXEC.DOS MSDOS.--- SETUPLOG.OLD TIM.SAV games
    AUTOEXEC.WIN MSDOS.BAK SETUPLOG.TXT TSYCDROM.SYS liprefs.js
    BOOTLOG.PRV MSDOS.SYS SETUPXLG.TXT USER.NEW pop3.log
BOOTLOG.TXT My Documents SIERRA WFCNAME.INI quicken
    COMMAND.COM NETLOG.TXT SNDSCAPE WINBOOT.INI s3vvvlk3.3
    CONFIG.DOS NatSpeak SUHDLOG.--- WINBOOT.~!~ t
    CONFIG.WIN Program Files SUHDLOG.DAT WINDOWS timwin.ini
    DETLOG.OLD R3DDEMO SYSTEM.1ST bat util
    DETLOG.TXT RECYCLED SYSTEM.NEW bin
    o:3%

The directory which was mounted was the top level directory in //velvet/c
rather than //velvet/c/downs.

The bug reported in that issue was in mount.smbfs, which we no longer
provide as we only provide a wrapper and mount.cifs as of 3.0.27a-2

mount.cifs does not have that bug, according to upstrezm #4712.

Hence closing as we no longer provide mount.smbfs.
