Hello,

Referencing the already closed Debian bug #410663 - I still encounter
this problem with winbindd on some of our proxy servers which are
using /usr/bin/ntlm_auth out of the winbind package:

[2009/01/28 12:38:04, 0] nsswitch/winbindd.c:process_loop(813)
winbindd: Exceeding 200 client connections, no idle connection found
[2009/01/28 12:38:04, 0] nsswitch/winbindd.c:process_loop(813)
winbindd: Exceeding 200 client connections, no idle connection found
[2009/01/28 12:38:04, 0] nsswitch/winbindd.c:process_loop(813)
winbindd: Exceeding 200 client connections, no idle connection found

Has this fix provided in #410663 been added to the etch package as
well?

Several days ago, the Samba people continued to work on the still open
samba bug #3204 [1] which has been referenced in #410663. Richard
Sharpe posted another (hopefully final) fix for this [2] and they set
the bug to resolved.

Regards,
Andreas
