Package: wlassistant
Version: 0.5.7-2
Severity: normal

Currently I use wlassistant to connect to my hotel's wireless network.
It reports fail when everything is fine.
Steps to reproduce:
1. modprobe ndiswrapper (I insert my card driver)
2. start wlassistant
3. list of detected networks appear. I select valid network and click on it
4. after a while "connection failed" message appears
5. when I wait few seconds, right arrow appears near selected network
and my connection becomes active

if I quit wlassistant right after step 4, connection does not become active

The wlassistant package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/494859 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.

Kind regards,
