Package: jpilot
Version: 0.99.9.2-1
Severity: important

Hi,

I recognize that I made a mistake but, still, this gave me a hard time:

- I had a CSV file for a contact
- I made the mistake to import it into the datebook instead of address
  book.
- JPilot accepted the entry more or less flawlessly
- but after the database was corrupted: I got an error
[line after repeated many times]
Unknown repeatType (41) found in DatebookDB
find_prev_next(): infinite loop, breaking

desc=[Baechle]
Unknown repeatType (41) found in DatebookDB
[line before repeated many times]
- the entry didn't appear anywhere in JPilot (but in the search), so
  that I couldn't remove it.
- after hotsyncing, my Palm would just crash and offer a soft reset
  (which didn't help). Only a hard reset did work (and some data loss
  obviously, hence the severity).

If you want, I can send you directly the original contact, but it's a real
person, so don't make it public. Anyway, I think that the bug is that
the import function should check the imported values on validity before
importing them.

Thanks, Eric
