Hello,
When running:
xmodifie...@im=chinput LANG=zh_CN.GB2312 mlterm -e vim
and, say,
xmodifie...@im=chinput LANG=zh_CN.GB2312 emacs
The context is shared between the two windows. For example I can type
'kuan' in one windows and rather than finding a empty context in the
other window will also find that there.
This is a problem because it means you can't have half-input - you must
have completed composing a character and it also breaks the
specification for XIM.

The chinput package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/509538 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
