Package: dpkg
Version: 1.10.9

Hi, is there any way to lock the package database only for the packages being updated? This way if I started installing emacs and while it's installing decide I also want vim, I don't have to wait for the former to finish, since emacs and vim aren't updating common packages.

Thanks,
Yury
