I have previously used wammu/gammu with a Nokia CA-42 (?) adaptor and
Nokia handset.
Without the adaptor and handset attached, I installed gammu-smsd and it
created a configuration file and started gammu-smsd leading to output
like the following. I would rather that the initial installation created
a commented-out configuration file with instructions for customising it
for use and leaving gammu-smsd not running than starting gammu-smsd with
a non-working configuration:
