The racing portion of planetpenguin functions just
as well as tuxracer did -- BUT the initial menus
(in English) are illegible.
Although a few letters of the text are visible,
most of the letters are missing, and the menus
are therefore only navigable to someone who was
previously familiar with tuxracer.

the bugs that were still opened against it.
