Using a Matrox g400 card using mga ppracer is unusably
slow,
(about 1 frame per second) with Debian etch.
The g400 plays ppracer very well with sarge using
using xfree86.
The g400 also plays ppracer very well with Ubuntu 5.10
using xorg.
How to reproduce.
1. Install Debian etch using a g400 graphics card
2. Configure xorg to use mga
3. Install ppracer
4. Start ppracer at the default 800x600 resolution
