Package: gnuplot-nox
Version: 4.2.0-4
Severity: minor

The latest gnuplot-nox, due to the addition of wxt terminal support,
wants to suck in an unreasonable number of dependencies via libwxgtk2.6-0.

This is annoying when generating statistics graphs on small headless
router boxes.

Exactly why the non-X version of gnuplot requires GTK+ runtime libraries
is unclear. Although reading the history of #414395 makes it clearer,
wouldn't gnuplot-x11 be a better choice? Note that it requires 11 MB more
libraries (on x86-64) than gnuplot-x11_4.2.0-3.

Apologies for only ever complaining, but that's the nature of bug reports.

As far as I'm aware this is no longer the case and was fixed some time
ago, therefore closing.

Regards,
Bradley Smith.
