Package: libfreetype6
Version: 2.1.7-2.4
Severity: important

The bug I reported in #238772 (now archived) is still present.

This bug breaks the upgrade of many packages on my system, since there
are a number that depend on rebuilding the font cache in their
post-install.

I have tested the patch I included in the old bug with the latest version
and it corrects the problem. I have also checked in the CVS head for the
freetype project, and the bug is corrected there in a similar (if not
more complete) fashion.
