Package: libfreetype6
Version: 2.1.10-1
Severity: normal
Since 2.1.10-1 upgrade, autohinting doesn't work or badly.
I took a screenshot of xterm using Luxi Mono font :
(xterm -fa 'Luxi Mono:size=8')

On top is what I got with libfreetype 2.1.7-2.4, and the bottom is with
2.1.10-1.

Hello,
On my laptop LCD @96DPI, running the test case (gnome-terminal with
Bitstream Vera Sans Mono @ 8pt) shows none of the described rendering
errors. So I believe this bug is resolved in recent versions of FreeType;
closing the report accordingly.
If you are still having problems with the version of libfreetype6 in lenny
or beyond, please reopen and provide more information on how I can reproduce
the error.
Thanks,
