Thanks for maintaining xtraceroute.
It looks fun.
I noticed that a weather web site will convert US city and state info
into longitude and latitude. Its URL is
http://205.156.54.206/oso/siteloc.shtml
It seems to me that if someone were so inclined, they could
enhance xtraceroute so it obtained latitude and longitude by the
following conversions:
IP or domain name -> whois -> City and State
City and State -> weather URL -> latitude and longitude
If done properly, it seems to me that this would result in MUCH
more complete graphics.
