When a Nikon NEF raw image file from a Nikon D70s camera is opened using
cinepaint, it fails to decode it.

The error in the dialog box is:

Not a raw digital camera image.-1342501636 -1342501636 984574646 -1

NEF images are based on TIFF.

$ file 20061114_094304.nef
20061114_094304.nef: TIFF image data, big-endian

The above error message is the same for all the image files.
