Package: gphoto2
Version: 2.1.5-1
Severity: normal
Some large files such as movies are impossible to download from my
Canon PowerShot A80 with gphoto2 because the following consistently
happens: after all the data is transferred, gphoto2 apparently tries
to send a 'canon_int_set_file_attributes' command with argument 0x0
and gets some 'Bad parameters' response which causes it to exit with
an error. Why is it trying to set file attributes? Can we change the
behavior so that it doesn't fail in this situation? Since it has gone
through the trouble of downloading all the data, it might as well save
it to disk. Excerpt from gphoto2 debugging output below, full output
(~70M) is at http://ofb.net/~frederik/gp2.out.gz.
