Hello

It is recoomended that pad be set to not send core events.

However, when done so the tablet buttons do not work.

I would rather appreciate if the pad was translated into plain scroll
events so that it could be used with any program as a core pointer
device, both the pad and the buttons.

Hi,

I'm closing this bug here now, because the issue with setting devices
to send core events should be entirely moot with the xorg1.6 release
now in Sid, which doesn't need to make this distinction anymore.
Just get rid of your input device sections altogether and let HAL and
the runtime input device property mechanisms deal with it.
