Hello,

after havin slept on this I have decided to reject this wishlist
request and will therefore mark the bug report as fixed.

The rationale has already been given[1]: anacron extends cron. Without
cron anacron does not (always) run jobs regularly, especially on 24/7
machines. I think this possible breakage is more important than the
reluctance to install cron (in addition to anacron) on leafsite
systems.
