Package: lufs-utils
Version: 0.9.7-6
Severity: normal
I'm trying to mount an FTP file system with lufs, but lufsmount says:
lufsmnt needs to be installed suid root in order to be used by unprivileged
users
Is there a reason that it's not suid root? I know this is a security concern and
all, but shfsmount from shfs-utils is installed suid root (I've been using it
successfully for some time) so it is possible :)

Ambassador Londo Mollari: Because I have asked you; because your sense of duty
to our people should override any personal ambition; and because I have
poisoned your drink.
