Package: gpg-rsa
Version: 2
Severity: normal
my .muttrc:
#set pgp_default_version=pgp2
set pgp_default_version=gpg
#set pgp_send_version=pgp2
set pgp_gpg=/usr/bin/gpg-pgp
#set pgp_sign_micalg="pgp-md5"
when i send a pgp2-compatible message with these options, the remote
side (in my test me myself) could only use gpg. using pgp2,
the following error occurs:
| [-- PGP output follows (current time: Fri Sep 10 10:25:13 1999) --]
|
| ^GError: Decrypted plaintext is corrupted.
|
| For a usage summary, type: pgp -h
| For more detailed help, consult the PGP User's Guide.
| [-- End of PGP output --]
another test (without mutt):
$ echo bar > foo
$ gpg-pgp -ea foo
[..]
$ pgp -d foo.asc
works fine. the scripts seems to be ok.
i have no idea, where the error occurs.

This is a 10years old report, which probably doesn't apply to the current gnupg
anymore. I'm going to close it. Please reopen it if you still observe similar
issues with a recent gnupg and update your report then.
Thanks and regards, Daniel
