Hello,
I'm hereby requesting the creation of [email protected] .
Here the technical details follow:

--->8---
Name: debian-l10n-sicilian

Rationale: it would serve as a basis for Sicilian (scn [0]) localization
           efforts in Debian.
           Sicilian [1] is regarded as a proper language, not as a dialect of
           Italian, and it has an estimated speaking population of ~5M people
           [2] (even more probably, since 5M is roughly the island's
           population. Sicilian is also spoken by emigrants in foreign
           countries). It itself has a number of dialects ([2] again), and is
           widely spoken in southern Italy [3] (sorry labels in Italian :/).
           Unfortunately, Sicilian isn't taught in schools/universities (here
           only in specialized courses), but is very common as a speaking
           language. People might have difficulties in writing it (since
           writing it is difficult for Italian-grown people), and we will refer
           to the grammatical rules used in Sicilian wikipedia, which seem the
           most reasonable [4][5].
