Package: epiphany-browser
Version: 2.24.3-2
Severity: normal
I have "automatically open..." unticked. When I navigate to
a PDF in epiphany and select "Open" rather than "Save" in
the resulting dialogue, gimp is used to open the PDF.
However, I have set "Document Viewer" for PDF files in the
"Open With" tab via nautilus, and see(1) from mime-tools
and gnome-open(1), not to mention double-clicking in
nautilus, all use evince/document viewer, so I can't figure
out why epiphany insists on using gimp. (I don't know why
gimp even claims it can open PDF files. I don't think it
should associate itself with file types it can import,
rather than manipulate as a "first class" type, like PNGs,
etc. I think I filed another bug for this gripe already.)

Of course it does; the new version of gnome-session won’t be actually
used until you log in again.
