When I'm disconnected from the Internet (laptop, no Internet at home), I
get an error message box when trying to add a podcast:
Error in podcast
There was a problem adding this podcast. Please verify the URL: ...
The same problem does not occur with adding Internet radio URLs.
I suggest that an "Add anyway" option should be added when the podcast
URL has problems, this will also be useful when servers are down or a
dial-up connection has timed out and so on.
