Package: awesome
Version: 3.3~rc4-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

The current version of awesome window manager crashed immeadiatly after
trying to launch any application.
Any program started before awesome, starts normally.
Here's my ~/.xsession:

| wicd-client &
| gnome-power-manager &
| exec awesome

The wicd client, the gnome-power-manager and awesome (supposedly)
start-up properly. When i try launching any (windowed) application from
within awesome (using `dmenu`), awesome just crashes w/o any
error message.
Nothing usable in ~/.xsession-errors either.

Attached file contains output of
 $ strace -o awesome-crash2.log -p $(pidof awesome)
I tried to start gnome-terminal to reproduce the crash during the
strace'd session.

if you need any further output or information, please let me know.
