Package: fvwm
Version: 1:2.5.23-2
Severity: minor
Hi,
When using startx with fvwm, the key binding
Key XF86PowerOff A A Exec exec ...
doesn't work.
I see the error message
[fvwm][ParseBinding]: <<ERROR>> No such key: XF86PowerOff
I think this is because the key symbol XF86PowerOff is not defined by xorg at
the time the binding line is processed.
If I run xdm, then fvwm, the key binding for XF86PowerOff works fine.
Best regards,
Bin

I am not sure what you expect fvwm to do about this. fvwm does
not have any direct contact with the hardware, and if the X server does
not tell fvwm about a key, it can't bind any action to it.

So, the best advice I can give is, don't use startx, or do not
expect fvwm to bind any action to the missing keys.
