Package: sox
Version: 14.0.1-2+b1
Severity: normal

sox foo.wav bar.wav trim <start>

correctly trims the start, but erroneously trims 44 bytes from the end
as well. It's probably no coincidence that the WAV header is 44 bytes.

The problem can be seen in 14.0.1 with
 sox -n 2secs.wav synth 2 stat
 sox 2secs.wav -n trim 1 stat
this gives:
Length (seconds):      0.999583

It was fixed in 14.1.0:
o Fix [1997637] Trim effect loses samples (with wav).  (robs)

Cheers,
Rob

Oops, that one slipped through the cracks!
Was fixed a while back... closing
