Package: binutils
Version: 2.17-3
Severity: minor

I spotted some spelling errors in manpages,

manpage: /usr/share/man/man1/ld.1.gz
errors: preceeded -> proceeded
        exececutables -> executables
        Charateristics -> Characteristics
        conjuction -> conjunction
source: ld/ld.texinfo

manpage: /usr/share/man/man1/nm.1.gz
error: transistions -> transitions
source: binutils/doc/binutils.texi

manpage: /usr/share/man/man1/objdump.1.gz
error: mneumonic -> mnemonic
source: binutils/doc/binutils.texi
occurs in include/opcode/ChangeLog too

manpage: /usr/share/man/man1/readelf.1.gz
error: specifiying -> specifying
source: binutils/doc/binutils.texi

You might want to spellcheck everything, I might have missed some.

Thanks,
