Package: offlineimap
Version: 6.1.1
Severity: normal

Hi,

Since approximately 6.1.0, kerberos authentication no longer works
properly.

Offlineimap does start correctly, and does manage to successfully get a
service ticket for the IMAP server. However, the server's syslog shows this:

Jul 17 01:08:35 samba dovecot: imap-login: Disconnected: Too many
invalid commands: method=GSSAPI, rip=::ffff:194.224.98.150,
lip=::ffff:195.144.77.39, TLS

And then a password prompt is shown in the offlineimap window.

Actually, scratch that. I just did another daily update, and now
suddenly it works again. I suspect something down the dependency chain
of offlineimap was broken and has now been fixed, I just don't know what
it is.

If it breaks again in the future, I'll let you know; but for now, I just
don't care enough to figure it out ;-)
