Package: nagios-nrpe-server
Severity: normal
We are using nrpe to check spamd on a mail server. Spamassassin wants to
create a .spamassassin-directory in the home directory of the user it is
running under, but complains because /var/log/nagios does not exist.
This directory should probably be created with the user, and maybe
/var/log/nagios is not the best place for this user's home directory.

Both issues have been fixed in squeeze and unstable with 2.12-3 a few months
ago. We now use /var/lib/nagios for all nagios related packages.
Thanks for reporting
