Hello,
I've configured bootlogd to capture boot messages on the console and save
them in /var/log/boot. I've also installed insserv in order to run level 2 init
scripts in parallel, to save few seconds during boot. I've noticed that if I
use 'CONCURRENCY=shell' in /etc/default/rcS, I don't get anymore init scripts'
output messages once bootlogd has started. With CONCURRENCY=none or startpar,
bootlogd works well, copying console messages captured in the boot console.

This problem can no longer happen, as the shell concurrency option has
been removed, and been made an alias for the startpar concurrency. :)
