Package: multipath-tools-initramfs
Version: 1.0.0
Severity: minor
Hi,
Since installing mutlipath-tools-initramfs, update-initramfs has become a
bit noisy:
+++
Using mkinitramfs-kpkg to build the ramdisk.
ln: target `/tmp/mkinitramfs_q24424//lib/udev/' is not a directory: No such
file or directory
W:copy_exec: Not copying /bin/readlink to $DESTDIR/bin//readlink, which is
already a copy of /usr/lib/klibc/bin/readlink
+++
(this is when upgrading a kernel from etch on an almost pure etch system.)
I'm not totally convinced that it's multipath-tools' fault (especially the
first warning seems spurious), but multipath_hook is the only one to try to
copy readlink.
The kernel boots fine, but I never like to see warnings and error messages
like those on a production system...
cheers
