i tough this bug was gone, but it is back again :-(
moving the usb mouse halts the video capture with errors in the console:

pluging the webcam out and in again, i can capture once again. until i move
around the mouse.
ps2 mouse does not halt the capture and moving the mouse pointer with the
touch-pad (synaptics) works fine.
