Package: debdelta
Version: 0.28
Severity: normal

Hi!

With your latest debdelta 0.28, I saw this error message:

$ debdelta-upgrade -v -d
Recreated debs are saved in /var/cache/apt/archives
delta-upgrade failed  :   <type 'exceptions.AttributeError'> 'Version' object
has no attribute 'uri'
  File "/usr/bin/debdelta-upgrade", line 3008, in <module>
    delta_upgrade_(argv)
  File "/usr/bin/debdelta-upgrade", line 2745, in delta_upgrade_
    deb_uri=candidate.uri
None

Upgrading python-apt from 0.7.9 to 0.7.10 fixed it.
It seems that it's necessary to have a versioned Recommends on
python-apt ( >= 0.7.10 )

Thank you!

Best regards,
Nelson

hi,

currently debdelta works fine with 0.7.7 (in lenny) or >= 0.7.10 (in testing
and sid)

so there is no more a practical need to add a versioned depends (or recommends)

thanks anyway for noting

a.
