When I view some postscript documentation (for example postscript files from
lilypond-doc package), I get following error:
gs: src/gxccman.c:576: gx_add_cached_char: Assertion `cc->pair == pair'
failed.
I found that gs stops interpretation and prints this message only when I use
x11 driver with anti-aliasing (x11alpha). When I view the document without
anti-aliasing, there is no such problem.

ps: I have an impression that with upgrade to new gs-afpl, the quality of
anti-aliased text considerably decreased. For example, when one compares
xdvi and gs preview with anti-aliased text. Is this just subjective impression
or
were there any major changes in the gs code and/or fonts?)

the bugs that were still opened against it.
