Package: scid
Version: 1:3.7.3.cvs20090702-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

when opening scid, I get:

Trying to load the ECO openings file...
Unable to open the ECO file: /usr/share/scid/scid.eco

which is correct, since the ECO file is in /usr/share/scid/data .

Moreover, the Options/Load ECO file entry menu is greyed out and
therefore I cannot choose the new location of the file. As a result, I
cannot classify my new games by ECO.

I could still edit the configuration file manually, but a user should
never resort to this, exept in corner cases.

Cheers,
Gabriele :-)

scid - chess database with play and training functionality
Closes: 535756 541142
Changes:
 scid (1:3.7.3.cvs20090817-1) unstable; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream Version.
   * Removed prep.sh from the .deb it is still available if you
get the sources (Closes: #535756). Extended the README.sources.
   * Added recommendation to the tdom package, that enables scid to use the
xfcc XML protocol, used by correspondance chess servers and interfaces.
   * After the update the ECO files could be loaded again. This was veryfied
with
removing any configfiles, wich were successfully recreated. The default
config path for ECO files lead to the correct location. (Closes: #541142)
   * Adjusted the standards version to 3.8.3, according to my understanding of
the changes there was noting else to be done.
