Package: libgtk2.0-0
Version: 2.16.1-2
Severity: important
File: gtk+

libgtk2 breaks rox pinboard and maybe some other programs
rox is a "Risc-OS like filer for X"
rox pinboard works fine with gtk+2<=2.16.1.2 but
"rox -S --sync" vanishes with these error messages (the gtk warning may be
repeated twice if called w/o --sync):
crash with gtk+2.16.2 (gtk2 version that is in unstable, bug occures on this
debian box and on a netbsd box too)

8<-----
(ROX-Filer:15028): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_x11_atom_to_xatom_for_display:
assertion `atom != GDK_NONE' failed
The program 'ROX-Filer' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 459 error_code 5 request_code 20 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
---->8

previous versions of gtk does not cause this crash, so even if this is an
application bug, as previous versionsĀ of gtk did not causes the crash, i think
this prevent moving gtk2 2.16.2 from unstable to testing.
